Just Because it's June!

I stand on the brink of the month of June and take a deep breath. There are many many things planned for this month. :) First off, I'm doing The June Crusade which is a month-long event hosted by The Anne-girl that is basically a non-November NaNoWriMo. That means I'll be writing 50,000 words of a novel this month! If you compute it all the way out, that goes for about 1667 words a day. I set my alarm this morning and woke up bright and early, getting my slotted word-count written in just under an hour! I felt pretty great about that. :) I am holding the whole idea of 50k loosely--if life gets too crazy I'll bow out gracefully. But during the spring's press for finish The Scarlet-Gypsy Song, I often did 1,000+ words a day so it shouldn't be too hard. :)

One of my friends, Elaine, is coming to help with Coastal Baking on Wednesday, Daniel's out at iGovern so Sarah and Leah have been covering for him in the business. A lot. They're darlings about it. Then, on June 16th, a friend is graduating. Hopefully we'll be able to get the whole Taylor family up here for a visit at some point this month. I know Daniel and Abigail can't wait to see each other in person--it'll be the first time since the kick-off of their courtship. :) *sweetness abounding*

 There are various and sundry other little things happening in June. My Box-Hill plan may even happen this month! (Not certain on that point, but hopefully!) What is my Box-Hill plan. Ah-ah. That you'll have to wait to find out.
