I spy 2013.....

As our family was looking back on 2012 this morning, and recognizing the Lord's mercy throughout it, it dawned on me how much has happened since last January. I'm finding it true, that the older you get, the quicker time flies by. :P Anyhow, here's a summary of my year in pictures. (thanks PicMonkey. And yes, Jo, I was inspired by you. ;)

God has truly blessed our family and myself in particular this year, and I look forward to all His plans for me in 2013. :)

Matthew and I are graduating later on today....looking back on all 12 grades we've gone through together, this song came to mind, so without further ado, "HAIL THE CONQUERING GRADUATES!!!"! ;)

 

I said remember this moment, in the back of my mind

A Happy-ish New-Years-ish sort of Post

 First let me say....

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!!!!!

I am still trying to grasp the fact that the holidays are over!! :P But either way, we are officially in 2012 now. So, that brings up an interesting subject....what are you calling it? Are you going with the more traditional, "Two-thousand and twelve" or the trendy, "Twenty-Twelve"? :) I have a feeling I'll be using the latter.....but we'll see! I hope you all had a great New Years' Eve, complete with family, friends, games, snacks, sparklers, and fun!:)

You can't truly bring in the new year without Sparklers!!! Right? :)

Bop-it is a great game to play in a group setting!!! :)

 

Oh, and I really hope all of you were sports and stayed up til Midnight at least. ;) I, for one, didn't go to bed til 2:00! :P 

*the* ball! We do like to see it go down, but have found through the years that it's best to turn the TV on at the 1 minute mark, and turn it off as soon as the count-down's done! :P

 

How many of you have made any resolutions, goals, or the like for this brand new year? In our family we pick a few goals for the year---and we try to categorize them either physical, spiritual, or I guess you'd call it "intellectual". (any sort of skill, project, educational type thing would go into this one)
