After quite a few months of not having a reliable picture-taking device, I was able to buy a Nikon D300 a couple weeks ago! Obviously that was super exciting, and now I'm enjoying getting back into the habit of being a shutterbug. Anyhow, here's a sample of an impromptu photo shoot with my precious models, Levi and Grace. :) 

Retro Blues

The other day Rach and I grabbed the camera and went to this *teensy* park in our town to do a photoshoot. It was sunny and actually quite mild for the weather we've been having, and this was a nice, secluded-ish spot. :) This was the first time I'd picked up my camera and done some real work for a while, so I was pretty pleased with how these came out. (Considering the spontaneity of it all)

Levi is one week old today!! :) In these 7 days, he has showed us his "Mr. Darcy smile" dozen of times (we hope to capture a picture of that soon), has gotten his big-boy belly button ;), and has started cooing at his sisters. :) We've also discovered a ravishingly deep dimple in his right cheek. The other day I, Sarah, took him upstairs and did a little photo-shoot. He behaved rather nicely, and only got upset once! :D Here are some of the pictures:
