A.S. (Ante Scriptum)
As I was in the midst of writing this post, something truly exciting happened----and yes, it's important enough to go ahead of a tag.

WE GOT SNOW!!!!!!

| And there's one chica in particular who's absolutely excited that she saw a snowflake or two this year! :D |
Ahem. Let the games begin! ;)
Liebster is German and means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.
The way this goes, The Awarded states 11 random facts about themselves, answers 11 random questions (asked by the one the award came from) and then 11 more random questions on to 11 more bloggers that have 200 or fewer followers.
Ok, so 11 facts---random ones, to be exact. Erm.....
Uno: Holding my new passport today, I feel even more keenly the wanderlust that runs rampant through my veins.
Zwei: I'm finding alot of pleasure in reading the British mysteries Dead As A Scone and The Final Crumpet. They are light reading, set in England, funny, and I'm a sucker for any mystery story.
Tres: I've learned to block out the bass drum, distorted guitar, and tambourine noises coming from the other side of the wall while watching a movie. Know what's even more impressive? I've watched (and been able to get engrossed in) the majority of Downton Abbey while doing the said exercise. ;P
Four: I'm getting excited about planning 2013 on Two's Company with Rachel, and seeing what inspiring brain childs(ren?) we can produce.
Funf: I worked on a Mac for the first real time last week all week long. I can now see the pros of being able to drag practically any file ,image, or doo-dad in and out of every program on there. ;)
Seis: For some reason I'm in possession of at least 4 different full bottles of B&BW lotions. Warm Vanilla and Brown Sugar, Strawberry Sparkler, Lemon Vanilla, and Pomegranate Citrus. (see? that was *random*)
Septem: I love singing Michael Buble's Everything in a man voice.
Huite: We've had so many "misty, moisty mornings" recently they're all blending together in one wet strip of fog in my brain. >.<
Nein: It's pretty outrageous how long these tags can take me.
Diez: One of the reasons may be because I've abandoned my morning joe and my brain is rebelling.
Undecim: I'm determined to read more books in 2013, and specifically, more non-fiction. :)

1. What color eyes are dreamiest?
For guys or girls? :P I would think a dark brown or a brilliant blue.
2. Do you knit, crochet, or do anything remotely crafty? (And if you do, can you give me some lessons? ;)
I know how to knit, crochet, and sew a bit. I'm more inclined towards card-making/paper crafting, but having the others skills come in real handy during the holidays. ;) And sure, Casey! Come over sometime and I could teach you! :D
3. What is your favorite album, and your favorite thing to be doing while you listen to it?
Criminitley. I don't know if I can pick *one* album! But recently I have been loving The Struggle by Tenth Ave North. And it seems like I'm always in the kitchen when listening to it. :P
4. Do you prefer clean-shaven men? or bearded?
Depends......clean shaven at least til they're like in their twenties. And from there, I'd say I prefer the scruffy/goatee look rather than all-out beards.
5. Do you have any weird phobias?
I don't like slugs and caterpillars. I blame it on a childhood experience.
6. If you had to be stuck with one pair of shoes for the rest of your life, what would they be/look like? (and don't you dare describe something practical that won't kill your feet!)
It would be a bright bold color (blue, yellow, red?) , probably have either wedge or heels, open-toed and comfy.
7. Sweaters, or sweatshirts?
If I had either, I'd go with the sweatshirts.
8. Are you a visual learner, or an auditory learner?
...my preference is visual, though I suppose I'm ok with auditory learning.
9. If you could be besties or mentored by anyone ever (includes fictional characters), who would it be?
Besties? C.S. Lewis, Julie Andrews, Mary Crawley or the Dowager Countess, (for entertainment's sake) or....
10. Do you prefer writing pen-and-paper style, or typing?
My mood effects that. If it was a personal correspondence, I'd say hand-written, but if it was a school-ish something or project, I go with the modern convenience of typing.
11. Describe your best friend
Well I don't think I'll pick one to go gushy over, but any of my *real* good friends will have a very good sense of humor, love the Lord whole-heartedly, be kind and friendly, and must have a lot of patience if they're dealing with moi. :D
Okay, next I'm supposed to make up 11 new questions for the bloggers I will be tagging:
11. What color are your toe-nails as you type?
10. If you were plopped into one book which would you be in, and which character?
9. What sort of fad are you (or your family) going through? (i.e., Broadway Les Mis, Downton Abbey, Silly Bandz, etc. ;)
8. What Disney princess are you most like?
7. What is your at-home-wear in general?
6. What key on your keyboard is most used?
5. Do you go by a pen-name, and if so, how did you come upon it?
4. Nautical or Cottage decor?
3. Hot or cold beverages?
2. What exotic food would you like to try?
1. Tell me 3 of your hardest-to-spell words.

You got snow! We actually have 6-12 inches where we live and it has been great having it, despite the fact we've also been having -20 degrees. Brrr!
ReplyDeleteDownton Abbey is a great show! Although I'm not so sure I'm going to like it after this season. ):
Mac computers are terrific! I am 'bi-lingual', in that I can use both Mac and Windows, but I definitely prefer my Mac.
Being besties with Mary Crawley wound be so cool!!
This is great ;) some of your answers gave me quite a chuckle, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for responding! :)
