things to make you feel brilliant

Chik-fil-A lemonade...it's impossible to feel dull while drinking it.

Laughing at one of Shakespeare's jokes. "I got it! I got it! Sarah--I got it! Haha!"

Knowing what thorough-bass means. (Go Wikipedia! ;)

Knowing the difference (if there is one) between "mizzle", "drizzle", and "mist"

Having checked the weather before anyone else and therefore being able to say, lackadaisically, "Oh..it'll be raining by 3:00 this afternoon."

Being the first of your friends to discover a new musical artist and bring him/her into the adoration of your circles. ;)

Saying "Les Mis." It makes you sound "in" when in reality you just say it because you haven't the foggiest idea what to do with the remaining 7 letters.

Being able to say that you've memorized the principle parts of the 2nd conjugation in Latin....[Which Sarah has managed]

Speaking about authors by their last names: Austen, Dickens, Alcott, etc. Gives you rather a sorority-feel. [All those college peeps in the old days used surnames exclusively.]

Watching period-dramas and having attained such a  lofty height of costume-recognition  that you know which costumes were recycled where.

Watching the BBC Sherlock series... or does that make you feel duller?

...Writing a post on things that make you feel brilliant? ;)
