Random Bullet Points Post!

Having been so very busy and so very splotchy in my posts on this blog, (Sarah, you are priceless!) I figured that the best way in which to catch you up on things would be a random bullet-points post. Ready?

  • Apple pie, when it turns out, is so worth all the work
  • ♫"I've been to the dentist a thousand times so I know the drill"♫...and I didn't have anything wrong with me this time! :D
  • The Lord is so faithful and amazing.
  • ♫ "True love can be whispered from heart to heart when lovers are parted they say, but I must depend on a wish and a star as long as my heart doesn't know who you are..."
  • Cricket is a very sleek and velvety-black pussy
  • Levi has amazing dimples
  • I wonder what part of the turkey processing process will be mine tomorrow?
  • I wish (for the thousandth time) that I knew an instrument
  • I sang "Pie Jesu" and hit the high note without a flaw today...it was a good feeling.
  • The fall is almost over! :[
  • Driving in a 15 passenger on skinny country roads without a speedometer is not as scary as it once was.
  • My sewing machine is at the doctor!!
  • And I hope to make a dress soon after it returns!
  • Dickens is my literary hero.
  • "It is a sword day! A red day ere the sun rises!" is stuck in my head
  • I love the BBC [Masterpiece Theatre] Pollyanna
  • How did Ginger Rogers dance in those shoes?
  • A couch-arm in lieu of a chiropractor...not so much.
  • There are so many teeny countries in the world that I've never even heard of...and to think each one has its own history, culture, and customs. "I never have liked the notion that the world is round...makes me giddy."
  • I want to set my hair in bandanna waves soon
  • Christmas is hot on our heels
  • And I've started making gifts. :)
  • Our piano needs to be tuned
  • Decaff coffee is good at night
  • I love my family, despite (and perhaps because of) our idiosyncracies
  • Provence, France, sounds like a nice place
  • But Scotland sounds better
  • I feel Spanish when I write my name like this: !Rachel :)
  • "Sway me Now" by Dean Martin is imprinted on my musical memory this week.
  • I can't wait for "Carol of the Bells" weather
  • Winter nights, breath hanging white upon the air, stars just tiny pin-pricks in the velvet of the sky
  • This is an exceptionally long random bullet points post and I know you are bored to death with it.
Thanks for enduring, folks! Have a nice night. :) ~Rachel

  1. Rachel,

    -I don't have 'bullets', so I'll use dashes. :/
-Ginger Rogers could dance in those shoes because she's... Ginger Rogers! =) What better position to be in when you're trying to dance in those shoes?? =D
-I'm older than the Czech Republic.
    -I like Russia. :/
    -Your list is not boring.
-We should exchange more pictures (can you maybe share more of the little munchkin??? =)
-Thankful we're friends, even if it's long-distance and the conversation is sporadic. Sometimes those friendships are better than shallow 'real life' ones. =)
-Liking your blogs, and wishing I'd just read your long writing posts! (For some reason, I just don't read as much as I used to, and I wish I'd just read!!)

    -Your friend, Cari
